Hi, my name is Rachel. I am a student studying fine art. I enjoy reading, forests, a wide range of music (particularly love prog and classic rock), fantasy-based novels, Sci-Fi, dystopian/post-apocalyptic literature, tree houses, long hair, incense, dragons, umbrellas, mushrooms, wildflowers, vines, overgrowth of plants, nature, bead curtains, colour, pure pigments, poetry, philosophy, wandering, films, things I consider nostalgic.
Some of my favorite artists (and I use that term loosely) include: Roger Dean, Gustav Klimt, Edvard Munch, Ryan McGinley, Ansel Adams, Jay Adams, David Lynch, Andrei Tarkovsky, William Butler Yeats, Virginia Woolf, Edgar Allan Poe, J.R.R. Tolkein, H. G. Wells, Aldous Huxley, William S. Burroughs, Margaret Laurence, Led Zeppelin, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nirvana, Liquid Tension Experiment, Dream Theater, Rush, Tim Buckley, The Velvet Underground, The Beatles, King Crimson, Jethro Tull, Cream, Metallica, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd and Yes.
Agnostic, lacto-vegetarian.

Perpetual Change
“No matter how careful you are, there’s going to be the sense you missed something, the collapsed feeling under your skin that you didn’t experience it all. There’s that fallen heart feeling that you rushed right through the moments where you should’ve been paying attention. Well, get used to that feeling. That’s how your whole life will feel some day. This is all practice.”
